TOP 100 Award

For the 23rd time, Germany’s most innovative companies are honoured at TOP 100. Schaeben GmbH & Co. KG is one of the innovative elite and managed to reach third place in size class A (up to 50 employees). The family business from Frechen participated in a challenging, scientific selection process. An assessment was conducted of innovation management and innovation success. The mentor of the innovation competition, Ranga Yogeshwar, honours the top innovators at the German SME summit on 24th June in Essen.
The traditional family-owned company from Frechen near Cologne convinced the jury at TOP 100 above all in the evaluation categories “innovation-promoting top management” and “innovation marketing/external orientation”. The secret to the top innovator’s success: consistent customer orientation. “You can only be successful if you know your customers’ problems; we have to recognize trends early on and serve them with the right products,” says Managing Director Heiko Hünemeyer, whose family has been combining expertise in cosmetics and pharmaceuticals for three generations. This combination of experience and a feeling for trends is the key to conquering new markets.
